Horin is a private, offline-first music player for Android built for the files already on your phone — no account, no streaming, no ads and no internet permission. Its standout feature is a rule engine that automatically hides voice notes, call recordings and short clips from your library, weighing folder, tags, length and format together instead of trusting file names. Built with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Media3 (ExoPlayer), it ships as a 7.3MB bundle with resumable playback, idempotent backup and restore, and a custom ID3 tag codec.
